This summer, three interns are devoting their time to work on the promotion not only of MARC and its projects, but also of the agricultural world around Maryland. The bulk of this work revolves around the development of our website and Facebook page and the creation of this blog.

The purpose of this blog is to provide our viewers with information regarding farmers markets, fairs, restaurants serving locally grown foods, and educational services to enhance your own agricultural work. It will also reflect recent and upcoming happenings right here at MARC’s Ag Center, whether it be an update on the plants we are growing, animals we are raising, or events we are hosting

Unlike the calendar of events found on our website, this blog will have a list and description of events on a weekly basis. This will provide our viewers with the most immediate upcoming events while having a more detailed description for each.

We look forward to providing you with this information and hope that you stay tuned and enjoy what we have to offer!
